Attention Brent, CW, or Jamo
This morning I had problems getting logged on as my password would not be accepted. After numerous tries I finally got the server to send me a new one and am logged on, but the quick links to Forums and such along the top are missing. Is this something wrong with my stuff or has something changed on the site? I have tried both of my computers and cleaned all the old temp. files and coolies out of them.

I just logged on with no problems...and the horiz bar menu is working OK.
Brent did a Forum software upgrade to a newer version last night... so it may be local cache problems for you.
Clear temp internet files and retry.

Ron,
I just did that and cleared everything, even to having to log back onto my home page and the quick link menus along the top are still not showing. They were ok yesterday when I left.
Edit: I just turned this computer off and went over and tried the other one. The quick menus along the top just below my address bar are not showing on it either. Everything was there yesterday, and then this morning I had to try about 8 times to get the serverr to send me a password. Once I got one and got logged on, everything worked except the quick drop down menus along the top are no longer showing on my computers. I even changed back to my original password and that works now to log on with. I have looked in my CP and can't find anything changed. Any suggestions?

Are you talking about the 'old' yellow floating menu? ..or the blue horizontal "Club Cobra Home User CP Blogs FAQ...etc" one?

Ron, I am talking about I guess what you call the old yellow menu. It was along the top just under my address bar and had several selections across there. One was a Quick Forum jump that dropped down several of the forums that you could just click and go to that forum from any other one. Made it a lot faster than going back to the Club Cobra Home, User CP & etc. It was there yesterday afternoon and they are all gone this morning. did what Brent do last night remove them?
Edit: They used to be above the CC Logo and the David Kee Add. And on the right side it had a drop down list of the other Cobra Clubs and a search tab at the far right.

I just checked and, yes, that menu is no longer installed.
That 'floating menu' was an old script. I haven't seen it in ages, since it didn't work with Firefox.
I am sure it is history now, with the Forum software upgrade.
But to answer you, it is not your system...it is no longer installed on the server.
...unless Brent gets an updated version of the script for it.

Ron,
Thanks for your time. I tried to eliminate anything I had before bothering you. Guess I will just have to get used to going back to the Club cobra and then out to whichever forum I want to go to. A couple of more steps, but nothing bad. Just confused as usual.

Maybe just make a bookmark/favorite out of this page and use it as your jump-point?

Thanks Ron, I was thinking about doing that but wanted to be certain that I hadn't messed up something after my password mess this morning. I appreciate the time you have taken to tell me this stuff.

That feature was there last night.Sure made it easy to get around.
There is no chance of it being reinstalled, after everything calms down again ??

Every once in a while I get something done quickly. I just do it to remind me that I still have it in me.

Still doesn't show with Firefox...but's that's OK...don't worry about that! :-)
And, as a reminder to all...the menus pull down, but don't snap back...it always did that.
Touch the Search choice at the end on the right to snap back the pulldown menus.

I know you guys have been busy, and this isn't a big thing, but I lost my little gold cup overnight.

Hey the quick jump bars are back at the top. Great as I like that more than having to go back to the other page and then down to find the Forum I want to jump to.
Thanks Brent. And thanks Ron(CW) for your help this morning after I thought I had messed up something. Old age and fading memory can cause some frightening moments.

I hate to say this, but I have to agree with Ron's last post.
Now I'm going to wash out my mouth with soap.

Hey, not only was my star removed about a year ago, now my trophy is missing!
Wonder if its those Humpin 'Ho sisters? They'd steal anything for another quarter.

Its the end coming Martha ... I'll be up to visit you shortly. The end is near. Club Cobra has started to take over the world.
