I know Superformance sells clips in Irvine. +- $600-00 .That car is definately fixable. If you bought it cheap enough you are going to do well!

Seems to be something written on the trunk. Perhaps "T??? Barn". Could that be a dealer name?

Getting a replacement body is costly. First, as others have stated, find the manufacture. Then go to that manufacture and I would get the whole car. I would put money on there are A LOT of stress cracks all over the car. It's hard to keep all those cracks from reappearing miles down the road! Glass guy's are especially hard to find! All the ones I found wouldn't touch an older car, especially a Cobra with NO straight lines! I've seen these wrecks before and fiberglass cracks where it's attached. If you try to get another manufactures body to work there is bound to be many more problems too. I believe a typical body will set you back at least $2500 to $3000. Sometimes the doors, trunk lid, and hood are extra and above that cost! Then factor a decent paint job at $4000 to $5000. I have seen a Super performance that was this badly damaged fixed but I believe it was over $7000 with paint and all. This road your about to go down is a tough one, I know! Good Luck.

Just a thought here. I am not for sure but could this be the car the lady wrecked that was on You tube a while back? Remember she was backing out and then when she got on the road she paniced and lost control as she went down the road and crached. This was all caught on film.

I could not find the link but it was posted oj this site many times.

YouTube - Why you don't let women drive your Shelby Cobra

Just a guess here. I do not for sure at all.

It's not the car the woman crashed on youtube. There are many differences comparing the video to the pictures. But it sure would have explained a lot !

yea after I found it and added it to the post and watched it a few times it does look a lot different.

Even the damage on the fender is not the same. Oh well i was just trying to help and I did say I wasn't sure.

I have seen that vedio so many times. I cannot believe someone, anyone didn't try to teach her better how to handle the car. Such is life I suppose.

I wrecked the rear of my car 11 yrs ago and repaired it myself and then had a paint shop paint it. Yes I do have a few small stress cracks ,but they do not take a thing away from the enjoyment I get from the car!!

Perhaps if you has asked somebody local to look at the car before you bought you might have a better idea of what you now own. Somerville NJ is 5 miles from where I live and I would have gladly taken a look for you.
We have a ton of PSB's in this area.

I can't believe that those were the only pictures that were available. Why no wide shots.

It's like they gave a monkey a camera a showed him how to hit the button.

Stretch - Did you try calling the The Toy Barn to see if they have any other details?
