I liked the MkI ... the MkII not so much ... the III was an 'acquired' taste and the the prototype for the IV looks like a Saturn Sky.

Along those same lines ... One car that I thought was not necessarily ugly, but was - again - an acquired taste (for those of us who couldn't afford a Corvette) the (legendary?) Opel GT.
