No problems except for an occassional spam e-mail from some guy called Ron61 and some crossdressing animal lover named 392Cobra.

Please allow me to introduce myself...since Tom has drug me out of the closet (garage?). I am the long time lurker Tom refered to. I have enjoyed the the technical knowledge and humor shared here on Club Cobra for years (having much more to learn than to share). So I would like to thank everyone for the generosity with which they have taken the time to help more people than they may realize. Personal note to Tom...next time we talk remind me to tell you some of my deepest & darkest secrets so you can post them on a public forum somewhere! I think i'll wait a few days before I ask "which is better... a small block or a large block?..."

Welcome aboard John.

And I will answer your question for you. A big block is better.

John,

Glad to have you finally join and you will have more to offer than you probably realize. Only spam I have ever seen on here really isn't spam. Just some guy that keeps going to Martha's Vineyards with his gold clubs hoping to get Ted Kennedy's Autograph. God forbid he ever gets it. We would be seeing pictures of that golf club for months.
Enjoy the club and don't hesitate to chip in on any of the discussions. I have never received a single piece of spam from this site.

Ron

John, just go ahead and let out those deep and dark secrets here on and Forum.

Jamo with look them over and determine if the thread should be shut down after you let us ALL know.

Small block/big block? What kind of question is that???

Look, if you want to stir it up, ask if it is real.

Jamo,

Have you been reading Roscoe's post over in the Lounge about not being allowed in eating places if you are to big?

A$$ reduction spams? Those only come from Club Cobra members cleverly disquised as spam.

Some people may think I'm rich, but my golf clubs are not made of gold.

The only thing I want with Tedasaurus's signature is his death certificate.

Thank you guys for the warm reception. Actually I subscribe to the Groucho Marks theory of "I would never join a club that would have me for a member!" So my first "deep dark secret" is I can't type! And my first recomendation is we've got to tighten up the new member screening process! Deep dark secret #2...evidently I love to use exclamation Marks!!!!!

Warren,

Will you stop using that Gold Font? It is almost impossible to read on the white background. A least change the background if you must use it. Sorry about the mistake on the clubs. I forgot you had yours made of Platinum.

John, you will have a great time on here. Heck, I even learned to spell somewhat better after I started posting. Of course we had HLC after us on every post back then. So I now have a spell checker.

Get it right, will ya.

Dinner is cooking - prime rib. Then just tons of snacks for the game.

To keep the spelling police at bay, I use a handy program for all forums on the internet.

ieSpell - Spell Checker add-on for Internet Explorer

Question

How many times are you going to cook that prime rib? It is cold here today but very little mist falling. Just a dark, dreary day, made to stay inside in the warmth and watch a good game. I think everyone around here must feel the same. I have seen one vehicle go past so far this morning.

I'm really not so sure. I've recently gotten offers for what are obviosly great investment opportunities from no less than 25 Nigerian ex-ministers, wives of ex-ministers, Royal Barristers, royal family members, etc. And, as you all know, Cobras are big in Nigeria.
