I installed R4 S pads on my car when I built it and I'm very happy with the performance. I can tell you that this is a subject that received a lot of discussion among FFR owners that started off with either factory pads or "lifetime" aftermarket pads complaining of poor braking and almost universally the Porterfields were agreed to be a huge improvement. I don't do anything fancy to warm them up, just drive and they work good. On track performance is excellent without excessive dust.
