Default Shorty oil filter?

I am running a FL1A which is to long I need a 4inch oil filter that fits on a 351 windsor, does anyone know a Filter # for this?

FL300 is the MC equivalent to a Fram PH43, a 'short' FL1a. It is 4" long overall
and is the common Mopar filter for years.

The Fram PH16 works well also.

I had the exact same problem... first oil change on my KCR 427W, I e-mailed Keith & he recommended the FL-1A- which, of course, I found out was too short. Ended up going to NAPA & buying some of their house brand filters... seems like he said it was for a Chrysler or something... will be good the have the Motorcraft part number should I decide to switch. I'll probably stick with the shorty, as I don't want to run more hoses & clutter up the engine compartment. I change the oil about every thousand miles or so anyway.

Default filters

An FL1H Iis what you need to run for engine protection, even if it means a remote filter.
