Default Paint Protection

Jim, also check out ArmorCoat. I had the 3m film and still had to have the front repaired because of chips and some bad paint. I choose the ArmorCoat because it is sprayed on and it hides better. http://armorcoat.armorauto.com

Check out my gallery to see how far up the hood I had it sprayed.

jimw427,
Did you paint it with the panels where they are in the pics or did they put them on afterward?
Thanks,
JB

Hi-tech Cobra, I believe they pulled all of the doors and hood when they painted the orange, mounted them to lay-out and paint the stripes, and I beleave they were left on when they did the clear coats. The doors were painted the next day.

Thanks for the comments, I saw it the other day, they had it setting by a door, and when we opened the door and some sun got on it the orange really poped out, the pearl jsut sparkled like fresh snow. Beelieve it or not this is the first Cobra these guys have painted or striped. Being in a small town not a lot of these around, they really did a great job on laying out the stripes and getting the body cleaned up and ready for paint. Can't wait to get it together.

Jim

embreglow66,

Does the armorcoat effect or change the color or is it really completely clear? Can you feel the transition area between coated and uncoated?

Jim
