USA trip august

Hi there Guys,
Will be over in the USA from the UK mid august to mid september floating between San francisco and Las vegas.
Could you give me any pointers for shows that might be on and dealers selling all those nice shiny things like halibrand wheels , jack points etc(Wire wheels for a Victory hammer would also be nice).
Also any race meets around that time would be great.
And if anyone knows where I could rent a vette for two or three weeks without limited mileage, that would be great.
(dont want much do I ).
Did route 66 last year on Electra glide so four wheels this year.

Hi Ray, Two of the western web sites are: "desertcruisers.com" and "cruisinarizona.com " . I'd suggest that you visit the California Cobras web sites. There is LOTS to do in August & September. The California Cobra guys are outstanding in what they do and their friendship.

The Good Guys Street Rod Nationals is going on in Pleasanton, CA on Aug 25-27. 3500+ street rods & customs... should be a good time.
