Default 767 Jockey's first Cobra drive

Doug, AKA 767 Jockey flew into Phoenix and had a layover. I picked him up at his hotel and showed him the Carbon car. His first ever drive in a cobra. I think he liked it. He's a great guy and good addition to the CC family. He only thought he couldn't wait to get his Contemporary finished.

Thumbs up Very cool!

Very cool! I am sure this will increase Doug's desire to get his Cobra done ASAP.

Double Ugly, it looks like you did away with the comp windshield?

Only temporarily. It's going to the midwest soon and the co-owner and his wife will do alot of cruising around the Lakes country. It only takes a few minutes to convert but the safest way to transport the windshield is on the car.

John,
Thanks so much for a most enjoyable day. It was a pleasure meeting you. Your generosity in allowing me to drive your awesome machine is indescribable. I owe you a ride in mine if it ever gets finished. I look forward to returning your hospitality if and when you're in New York. Thanks is not nearly enough, but thank you. What a great day this was, my friend, thanks to you. Take care.
Doug

Default Real nice thing to do

Double Ugly John,That was a real nice thing for you to do. The Question was how you got him out of the car? Forklift? Airlift? Doug is working hard on his car, waiting to see his motor builder is finished. Car looks great. I for one like the front lawn. Rick Lake

What kind of blades do you use on your mower??? I may go this route...looks better than midwest "crab grass". I'll bet the wife could even maintain that yard.

In AZ. they really push low maintaince/ no grass mostly for the water issue. I had an acre lot in the midwest that I ODed on for 20 years.

No freakin way, I didn't know he got to drive! That's just what he needed at this stage of his project. John you're a good lad and an ambassador of the Cobra clan. Keep up the good work.

Doug, at speed. He really didn't want to drive it, at first. Then he heard it running and couldn't help himself.

Doug, should have dropped me a line, I would have been more than happy to you have a go in my SPF. Much closer than Az.(haha) Meet me down at Nick's next time it's not raining and I'll let you have a go with my baby. These cars are much, much too fun to not be driven often and hard!!
