I got mine from Ron as Craig said above. I worked with Ron, since as a SPF owner, he came up with the idea of creating something specifically for the SPF cars and did the design work. It took him a good year, maybe two in design and testing. I believe Craig had one of the very early sets of pipes (maybe the first) and touted them strongly. Craig is one of the few people in this world who I would trust with everything I have so I followed his lead. I had one of the first one piece pipes and am very happy with them. They look and sound great and added meaningful performance to my 514. I have never heard of Dean before so I have no opinion about him. Now it WAS Buckshot that Ron was partnered up with and you can probably get Ron's design from Buckshot. I don't know what caused "the break up of the love afair" but obviously there was a separation and Ron took his design to his own company. If I was looking for another set of pipes, I would seek Ron out again. I can't imagine going to anyone else but that is just me.... and as I said, I never heard of dean so that is not meant to be a slap against him. Good luck with whatever pipes you buy.
