Thanks for sharing the photos with us. What did you think of the new roadster ? Your picture made it look long and sort of (ugly) . I am planning to build one and had hoped that FFR would have had one at Hunington Beach, Ca. but they didn't.

When I first saw the pics I liked the looks of it but seeing it in person I was not as thrilled as I thought I would be. In my opinion the front end is way too long and I also think it would look much better as a 3 window coupe.

Hey Fla MK3, thanks for the first hand info. What kind of comments did you hear from the other guys who were looking at it ?

From what we were told alot of the parts, particularly the front end stuff will not be "off the shelf" parts which seem to be of some concern. Other than that I did hear some comments about the odd looking hood and front end but for the most part everyone seemed to be impressed with it's styling. Apparantly the kits will be available in early 09

Was the FIA car anywhere to be seen? I wonder how that project is progressing, haven't heard much news in awhile.

I'm afraid it's gonna be a cold day in Hell before they get around to the FIA or Slabsides. I'd sell my 427 car and buy a Slab kit too.

Actually it would be easier (and less expensive) for FFR to move onto the slab side project then the Dick Smith project. But there are so many projects in the future it's hard to predict which would be next. (BTW the hotrod is a 3 window coupe (if you want).

Fla Mk3
Thanks for posting a pic of my Cobra. Fourth year for me. But I'm only 50 miles away from the factory, not 1800 miles. I took some photos and videos and posted them in the FFR forum section.

I was definitely NOT impressed with the roadster.
