Sooo MUCH FUN !!
Has anyone mentioned lately how much fun these cars are once they are complete???
Just finished mine 19 hours before I left for London last week, had about 6 miles on hit, came back with 73, and a couple of hours after my return home we pushed it to 150 miles. Still kinda in the break in mode, working out little bugs, but man these are a blast to drive, can't keep the smile off my face. You just can't explain the thirll and excitement setting behind the wheel. I have had several factory muscle cars in the past, but this is completely different.
I have added a few pictures of the pretty much finished project in my gallery from the gathering for the parade into London.
Can't wait to curise some more.....Jim

No, I just hate all of the 12K miles I have put on my Cobra in the last 4 years. I hate every moment!
I really hate it when the nice looking women want rides. What a pain.

You're right, Jim. These cars are a blast to drive! I've got about 300 miles on mine & loving every minute of it! Sometimes when I walk through the garage & see it parked there, I still can't believe I have one.
The only problem is that I messed up my left knee helping a friend put siding on his house Sunday. Now I gotta wait until my knee's better before I can drive it again!
So for now, the Cobra is................... garage art!

Photo for you
jimw427. Send me your e-mail address. I have a photo of you in your car entering London. It is an absolutely beautiful car. My son remembered the stripes on the hood as soon as he saw the color in the picture. He's only 8.

I'm just like you. I finished mine that Thursday before London, and was right in front of you duing the parade in. Great looking car, we love that color, we almost went with burnt orange as well.

And I really hate driving in the local 4th July parade. About 20 Corvettes just idling along, and maybe 15 Model T's chugging along the 1.5 mile route.
Of course, I had to hold up the Cobra mantra ... by practicing my burnouts. Probably took a 1000 miles off the rear Goodboots, but it was worth it. The crowds went wild every time I did a burnout.

VERY NICE, Jim!
I think it turned out great. It was worth every minute of the wait, wasn't it?
