I kept a cool head and left a good safety gap between the car in front of me. But the 14 cars infront of me were not. Brake lights are flashing up and down the line when the cars are too close. They were all riding each others bumper, creating a real safety hazard. Imagine if there was an accident, potentially all 14 cars in front of me could be involved. All because there is someone hogging the left lane at a speed that the other drivers consider slower than their daily average commute speed.
Those other 14 people were AH's as well, 100% of the time they are on the road. If there was an accident, it would also be their fault as well, maybe more so. It's good that you keep distance, as I do. When I come up on a slower car, and he doesn't move, I pass him safely on the right. There's no need for me to "enforce" anything to the slower driver, as many people on here feel compelled to do.

When the police start enforcing courtesy driving issues, then maybe it'll all be straightened out. But, I can tell you, when the traffic is medium to medium heavy, I will be in the left lane. My plan in life is to live and enjoy it, and not be involved in an accident by some AH cutting in front of me, trying to cross multiple lanes to get off of an exit, or crossing many lanes, dodging traffic to try to get 5 car lengths ahead, which is very often on a highway with multiple/many exits.

It's also appears to me that you still are very annoyed when slower people don;t get out of your way, although you say you don't drive aggressively.

If I'm in the left lane, and you come up on me, I give you permission to pass me on the right as well.

Stay Cool.

The crowd was jumping up and down as he stunned the Chevrolet drivers by easily passing the entire field to finish second behind MacDonald's other team Cobra. The Corvette people were completely demoralized."
