Way back in the '80s I had the opportunity to visit Mr. H when he was working out of his home garage, in Spring, Texas (outside of Houston). At that time he had a Cobra body sitting in his backyard; which he stated was an original. He had indicated that he had "his Cobra" back in California, and had used it to help Mr. Arntz get started in the replica business; splashing a mold off of it. He stated he had worked for Arntz as a mechanic and fabricator. He also indicated he was using it for his replica bodies, in Texas. I never did see the chassis, nor did I think of asking about a CSX number. Could this be the same car? If the "restoration car" and this car are one in the same; Ron's right, he has had it a long time.

Some of these treads are more fun than watching a Pee Wee Herman movie.

My thought on it is this. If he has been doing it for 25 years and is good, then he would be a lot bigger than he is and would have a lot more customers. Plain and simple. How is it Factory Five has been doing this for only about 13 years and they have over 6000 sold and have a huge loyal following? How is it Hurricane was only selling for a few years and have sold over 100 kits and have a loyal following? 25 years puts him starting in the early 80's. The companies that have been around that long are considered among the best and you can find all kinds of independent info about them.

Have there been complaints about Holiday Motorsports from people who did not accept help and had their panties in a bunch over nothing? Yes without question, same for FFR, Hurricane, ERA, Kirkham, Superformance and everyone else out there. The difference is that when those come up, they are brushed off because it is a rarity. When one comes up for Daryl Holiday, the first responses are "Here is another" and posts like this seem suspicious.

So where's Oggie to defend himself, everyone gets worked into a lather over some comment made by an unknown that then disappears and the fight goes on anyway? I always thought the Marines, the Rangers, the Seals and all the other guys (and gals) were on the same side.

WalMart has a sale starting today, 2 for 1 on big bags of microwave popcorn....

I'm not a plant and yes I was directed to the website but wrote what I did on my own accord. I've gone and seen the car a few times and Mr. Holliday seems to be making excellent progress. I can't speak to the nature of his past dealings but it seems he fully intends on keeping his word and finishing my Cobra. Mr. Holliday appears to have many enemies on this forum but I can only speak for myself and my experience. I haven't posted because I forgot about the forum and frankly I'm glad I did. It's nice to see grown men acting like sniveling third graders. Keep up the random flame wars and enjoy your pissing session.

So after three months you wander back in and try to re-light the fires?
Glad to hear you are making progress on the build.

Such maturity and wisdom displayed by your comprehensive and well thought commentary.
I bet the third graders look up to you as well oggie.

Let the well planted sand-bagging attributes continue.

Post some pictures oggie, would like to see the sled.

I consider myself along the intellect of a 5th grader so they do look up to me. I've got another fake review coming. Ready?

Mr. Holliday is Jesus himself and came down from heaven and created my car out of scraps of paper mache and dog urine. I was amazed until he looked at me and told me to have faith. Daryl Holliday is Jesus. No lie. I've seen the light.

Good lord. I'll get some pictures soon and post em up for everyone. The man is doing his job and thats all anyone can do.

I just figured I'd say something to defend myself. I'm re-lighting the fires because it looks like the flames had gone out. I'm making almost as much progress as my car which is coming along nicely. Maybe I can pick you up and take you for a spin. That might be tough since your a Senior Club Cobra Member. Make way for the tough guys.

Hmmm........sounds like a few too many recreational Rx endeavors for you oggie.

Maybe a respite to fill some more sand bags is in order
