Cleaning Ceramic Coated Sidepipes

I've had to remove a lot of my skin from my sidepipes <seriously>. It leaves a funny looking stain but it scrubs off with 409 Cleaner and rag.

Here is the link to get the metal polish and #0000 Steel wool can be found at any good hardware store.
The steel wool gets filled with a black goo as it lifts the dirt out of the metal, change the pad when it starts streaking. Follow up with a clean soft polishing rag. Looks like new. Road tar, dirt, water marks and even skin comes right off.
