Rebat Battery Label
Hi,
I knocked up a copy of the Rebat battery label in MS Publisher. It isn't perfect, but once printed onto a sticky back label and stuck onto the battery, it should look pretty convincing I think.
I now need to mock up some caps.

I've put a bit more work into it to improve some of the smaller details e.g. the small aircraft silhouette and line intersections. See the image in the first post.

Here are my "Rebats" with the cases sprayed white and the home made labels attached.
I make the tops out of soft drinks bottle necks and caps, but there was only room to fit 5 rather than 6, but I don't think many would notice once they're installed behind the seat.
Paul.

Very nice work and creative. Your labels give the proper look at a glance (although a bit larger than they should be) and should look right at home behind the seat. I am glad to see you went with the proper white case/black top. The soda bottle cap idea is brilliant. You can make it blend even better if you want by making the "caps" black, which would be more period correct for a Cobra era Rebat.

Looks great! I used water bottle tops and went black which allowed 6 to fit. Can't tell the difference once set behind the seat.
Sal,
Paul and I used the recomended KMS sealed batteries versus the G35, they are a tad smaller. The tray I bought was for the KMS sealed battery so things worked out well in the end. Mine are installed just not wired yet, with snow on the ground I have the time.....

What was the reason for using a different battery?

Sal
First, the tray I bought on Ebay was a KMS one 15.5" x 5", thus made to fit the smaller sealed version from BP. Didn't want to make a new tray.
Second:
http://www.kirkhammotorsports.com/manual2/batteries/
They were priced at $69 each, bargain compared to G35.

Bringing this back up. What is the size of the Rebat label? I have a friend who works for a print shop and can make them up. Just need to know the correct size and a ballpark quantity. From there, I can quote a price. I'm not interested in making a profit BTW. Just wanting to "pay it forward".
Thanks
