Valet Parking
What do you do when the valet wants to park your 650 HP 482 SC?

Keep driving man!
Or slip the guy a twenty and ask the guy where to park. Or...don't go anywhere were you would need to valet park.

Whether it's the Cobra or the Vette, I do the same thing...slip em a $20 and park in the valet area and keep the keys.
Never once been turned down.

Would do the same...one thing I have seen mentioned is to slip in the 3000rpm chip in an MSD ignition if you have one.

Did you ever see this movie. Let me speak from experience with a teenage valet parking job, it does happen.

Niftly Little Accessory
I don't let the valet, or anyone else, drive my Cobra. BUT, if I did, I would crank my adjustable rev limiter, that I have tucked in the back of my glove box, all the way down so that it would be much more difficult to get in to trouble....

Several years ago, the valet at the Grand Hyatt Seattle wiped out the driver's side (from the front bumper to the rear bumper) of my Hertz rental.
The valet guy brought my car around and tossed me the keys...guess he didn't notice that the rearview mirror was hanging off of the door.
That was fun fighting with the Hyatt and their valet contractor. I now do a quick "walk around" the car with the valet before they drive away.

Give them a 10 and park it myself. They let you park in the front location because the car is cool.
or
Park in a good spot myself and walk.

This problem arises very, very rarely, since going somewhere which has a valet service would mean that da wife would not want to arrive with "Cobra hair". Guys, you know this is true...
However, I have been offered valet service at local high end hotels (Sonoma Mission Inn, Ahwahnee Lodge, etc...), and they have let me "self-park" with a generous tip.
Summer of 2007, I took da wife on a 9 day Cobra road trip visiting national and state parks. 5 minutes before we arrived at the Ahwahnee lodge, it started to rain. I pulled underneath the portoco (sp?) and the valet dude asked, "Checking in, sir?".
ME: "Yes, but can I leave my Cobra underneath the portoco until the rain stops?"
VALET DUDE: "Sure, let me check my boss - so, come back in a few hours after you've checked in and gotten a drink."
ME: "Great! Thanks (I slip him $20)."
A few hours later, the valet dude (whose name escapes right now) tells us, "My boss loves your car. She said that you can leave it here under the portoco during your entire stay with us."
ME: "Great! Thanks (I slip him another $20 and do so every day of our stay)."
It's good to be a Cobra owner!

I could see a bidding war if it was a large group of Cobra owners.
