If CS sees that blatant attempt to steal his good name and numbers, he will sic his cadre of attorneys on them to make them cease and desist so they don't get mistaken for original cobras!

A CSX5xxx number, and it does not even remotely resemble a Shelby Series 1!

I hear that the frames were recently discovered squirreled away in a warehouse in Southern California.

Shelby claims that he stored them there from the mid 60's and forgot about them.

They can be registered as 1960's cars when completed. So he claims.

But if the frames all have CSX5xxx serial numbers, they would have to be registered as 1999 model year Series 1's...

The CSX5--- series is going to be a collector series from the get go according to CS.

Prices expected to start in the low $1M.

Lots of horsepower but limited on where it can or cannot go.

Now accepting deposits at a mobile home parked across the street from the Shelby complex in Las vegas.

Or you can send a check ($500,000 non refundable deposit) to the following address: 5000 U Ben Haad Avenue, Las Vegas, Nv. and make it out to Carroll A. Shelby Honorarium. (or CASH for short).

Actually, the CSX5000 series of chassis numbers were assigned to the Series 1 car that SAI built with Venture.... and is a collectible to some.
