I think the black MSD 84333 fits our Pro-Billet Ford FE Distributors. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm mistaken.

MSD black cap
Patrickt,
You are correct. I am running one on the Pro-Billet in my 351W (originally equipped with the Ford "big cap" and that hideous cap adapter). Don't know about the FE, but on the Windsor, I just had to cut off the L-shaped, spring-loaded mounting "screws" that came on this cap, and use the regular screws that came with the Pro-Billet instead. The Pro-Billet base had tapped holes for both the Ford pattern and the Chevy pattern caps (which is what this cap is).
It is a welcome addition to the MSD lineup for those of us that like a more subtle/stock appearance!
BTW, anybody know what MSD coats their can-type coils (e.g. Blaster) in? I tried painting my extremely red Blaster coil black, only to find that the paint would shed off at the least touch. Wound up stripping it to bare metal before it would take primer and paint. The red coating seemed to be a cross between an epoxy and rubber of some sort???

Uhh, if you go with the high-vibration blaster coil it's already black.

Thanks for the heads up from a CC member who pointed out Club Cobra in general, myself and Mr. Mustang in particular, are being trashed talked by ng8264723 on his favored FE site.
Yet another trash talking newbie. I don't appreciate your ADVERTISING another site here on Club Cobra, let alone trash talking THIS site! Buy a banner ad and put your money where your mouth is.

I saw that thread the other day. Just ignore it and shake it off. You and MM add flavor to the posts, whether you guys are right, wrong, or in between.

Paul, no offense taken. I like kidding around. I don't like the red cap either.
Patrickt, thanks for the heads up on the black cap. My painting skills aren't very good. I was always the kid with model car that fingerprints in it since the paint was way too thick.
Slamming people on other sites, let alone slamming people on this site, for their opinions just isn't proper. We all have opinions, and we all have opinions on other people's opinions. Just agree to disagree. Even the big shots in the engine world, or any industry for that matter, can be wrong sometimes. No one is perfect and I'm first in that line.
