I can change out my pads in 30 minutes as well even with inboard brakes on my CCX. Seems like the XJS might be a nightmare since it is so packed in?

On the serious side, can't you get a good 20,000 miles off of your rear pads? Or maybe half that under track conditions? Rear pad replacement is a once or twice occurrence in the ownership of the car.
