What's the pros and cons of FFR?????

I think a lot of people become Cobra replica owners because of Factory Five, though they may not always end up with FFR car, as in my case. FFR clearly spends a lot of money promoting and marketing their cars, they produce a DVD brochure, and will send you a whole ream of literature upon request. Its easy to be impressed with the FFR DVD and want to dive right in. But after 6 months of looking, evaulating and shopping, there is so much more than meets the eye, and FFR is not the only game in town by far.

You have to consider what you are left with when the build is done, how important authenticity is to you, and what you want to do with the car beyond assemble it. I for one thought FFR was the kit for me, until I realized how far off the body is from an original, not to mention some of the things noted by others in this thread. So I would advise not rushing into any purchase if you are new to this. Take your time, compare kits and costs, decide what will make YOU happy, and don't be afraid to ask lots of questions along the way.
