There is a flat pin from Vintage, maybe not available in the US, only in South-Africa.
It's also shorter!
You should ask the dealer in the US. Also for amounts he needs! :-)
The metrics are for Backdraft' BMW suspension. Do they also have a problem with pins?
Ask Tony Martin or Reg.
For those who need a shorter pin, you could shorten them on a lathe on the taper side to keep the hex.
As for material, CAV uses EN8, if I am correct. I can check next week.
