Thumbs up He's around and is at the cammer summit in Feb

ERA Chas Earl Wade is still around and building cammers on a limited basis. There is a Cammer summit by invitation in Feb in Fla that has some of the best cammer owners and builders around. Except for a couple of west coast guys Like Ed Pink and Joe B, everyone else is there. As far as Holman, I am sure they have some parts kicking around and can also get new old stock for alot of $$$$$$. Thats all you need. Peter at ERA did say that having a Cammer in a cobra was like killing a bug with a cannon. Stupid power and speed with a 160 to 180 mph range.. I know my foot boxes will need to be trimed, I all ready have the room and run the wide 17" wheels and tires. Would have to go and get a pilot licence to drive this. Anyway, hoping we have found another good machinist and engine builder for FE motors. Rick L.

Anyone have any HP and torque numbers for a well built cammer? My engine builder friend has built several cammers and has said that he has always been disappointed with the dyno results.

Default Cammer Available

I have access to an original Ford 427 Cammer. It is not a crate engine, but it only has two hours of dyno time on it. Do not have dyno sheet but was told it ran 650 hp on single quad. Purchased from the previous owner in Lapine Oregon 22 years ago and kept in storage since then. All original engine currently apart for inspection. Pictures available upon request. vorderma@gmail.com
