Ok, I think I finally have mine partly set up. I can't seem to get all of the stuff that dpmtrspts has in his but I did manage to get a picture in. Even though it kept telling me the picture would not upload, after I went back to the Forum page and then opened it again the picture was there. Is this something that I did wrong or just a glitch that I hit. My picture is not a big one at all.

I didn't have any trouble with loading the pic. I did have it resized using the Microsoft resizer. I think I went with the medium size when I resized it.
It is a nice feature on the site!

That is what I used to resize my pictures and although it put it in, I kept getting that notice that the picture did not upload.It wasn't until after I got out of the control panel and went back to check the size of my picture and then went back to the control panel that I saw it had loaded. I looked at the 500 X 500 pixel limit and mine was well below that. I must have did something wrong. I may try it again later to see if it will load and not give me that error.
Ok I tried it with the picture at Medium and I still got the Upload Of File Failed Message, but when I came back to the Forum Page and then went back to look at my profile the picture was in. Is anyone else getting this or am I not doing something correctly?
