Bob if you didn't stop dinking around making tools to make little parts instead of buying them, your getting as bad as me mate but the layer of dust is off your project. powdercoating is good remember all the sizes to clean the holes out to.
Yeah, I know- but what I lack in money I make up for in available time. Got the washers done, should be doing some assembly today and tomorrow. May even start on the brake lines this week.

Karl, where did you get the aluminum body? Do you have all the aluminum pieces you need for the car?

Hey, I do not think the 50lbs. of alum body will make any difference in my traction problem. I need the super sticky tires and a little less throttle pedal. hahaha

I purchased the alum body from a CC member. He wanted to mount it on a replica cobra in place of the glass body but the project was abandoned in favor of a kirkham. a good choice buying the kirkham. he sold the alum body and the glass car.

yeah, I have 99% of the close out panels. that was the easy part for me. My job is sheet metal fabrictor as in roofing mechanic/sheet metal fab. we use a lot of 040, 050 alum sheets and 16 oz. copper. I have all the normal tools and I have use of a 20' CNC break for making difficult pcs. get that project car running, it is more fun than pushing.
later, karl
