SBF???.....how about a nice all aluminum LS? Less weight the better, plus they come with a 2 year factory warranty.

Looks like the one for sale on ebay is the older model with open vents on
the fenders - look out windshield! If you are going to seal them why not
just get rid of them and clean up the lines?

Yes, but keep in mind the TVRs in the 80s and those introduced in the early 90s (Griffith and Chimaera) used Rover V8s which were under license from Buick. TVR continued to use this engine in the Griffith and Chimaera, even after the homegrown AJP8 was introduced. On a side note, that Rover/Buick V8 in a Griffith 500 is the best sounding engine I have ever heard in a production car.
