SBF???.....how about a nice all aluminum LS? Less weight the better, plus they come with a 2 year factory warranty.

Yes, but keep in mind the TVRs in the 80s and those introduced in the early 90s (Griffith and Chimaera) used Rover V8s which were under license from Buick. TVR continued to use this engine in the Griffith and Chimaera, even after the homegrown AJP8 was introduced. On a side note, that Rover/Buick V8 in a Griffith 500 is the best sounding engine I have ever heard in a production car.

This is a classic example of over steer.

Mike,

That is what I was thinking and with Turn 1, usually you see a full inward spin, overcorrected, then another half spin, slamming into the armco on the right side....I think that was what happened to Terry that one time.

But...if it was a u joint...ugh...had to be ugly.

Wink

This one heads off most other contenders down under. This shot taken in Castrol [Turn2] @ Teretonga, Invercargill, NZ. Whole meet was wet like this, nearest competitors were a GT40 Replica & an IROC Porsche.[usually 20+ secs back at end of races]
