I've used 3M Scotchcal Polyurethane adhesive film on my car. I ordered it through McMaster-Carr item # 1867t15, fairly inexpensive, opposed to looking for a kit to do it. With a little patience it turns out good. Just make sure to use a heat gun/hair dryer if you need to take it off.
I bought a huge roll of clear vinyl from an online art supply store (D!ck Blick) and made my own. It stays on statically. Just a little soapy water and squeegee it on. Send me your address and I'll send you enough to do a pair.
Thank you for the offer but I just ordered a few feet from Mcmaster Carr. I am assuming it goes on like the clear front end masks with soapy water and a squegee for removing air bubbles. I just have to cut it to fit "straight" before removing backing and working it with the squegee. Thanks again. Brian
