What the Ad Didn't Show...
The guy makes it to the end of the green pathway... and drops over dead as a doornail. Cut to the scene at the funeral -- his kids are looking down at his casket and one turns to the other and says " You know, it's too bad Pop never got that Cobra he always wanted. C'mon Sis, let's fly to Monaco; all of a sudden I'm feelin' real lucky."

There is a wonderful saying: "If you don't travel first class, your kids will". Invest wisely but don't let life slip by without enjoying it. By the way, Monaco is great this time of year.

I saw a black and white picture in a magazine a few years ago, it showed an older man, quite frail, balancing himself in a walker standing next to a Cobra, peering into the car. It made me think about waiting too long to get what you want in life. Wait too long and you could be dead.

And at the end of your life, when you can look back from the confines of age and immobility. What would you like that life to say?
“My portfolio performed well”
or
”I had a Cobra, I lived with fire and excitement, I savored every moment.”
“I know which line Id be standing in, that long Mother ______r!”

Don't recall that particular reference, but this is PRECISELY why I chose to go for it now and get a Cobra before I'm either too old to drive/appreciate it, or too dead to do either.
Someday I will have to give this car up. At least I'll have the memories. Can't put a price tag on that.
