I don't think any Backdraft owners are offended. We tend not to get into pissing matches over the size and tilt angle of our rollbars like some of you do.

To the original poster, most of the guys I know either own an FFR or a Backdraft. All are happy. One guy owns a polished Kirkham which speaks for itself. Figure out whether you want to build a car or buy a roller then start whittling down from there according to budget / look / options. My tastes have changed to appreciate a more "authentic" look. If I were to do another car I would be looking hard at an ERA because the Kirkham is out of my price range. That is unless FFR comes out with an FIA car or 3035 replica... And wouldn't that just be great to see show up.. a digitized version of 3035 with wood paneling and corduroy carpet. "Build it like YOU want it" my azz. Ugly is ugly and it should be illegal.
