I don't think your (our) Cobras will ever be outlawed. They are old cars, and old cars are generally owned by people with wealth. Wealth equals power in this country. Some politicians will complain about waste and environmental issues, but will undoubtedly be overruled by the (in)sane folks who love their cars and car collections.

Let's ban all those 2-cycle mowers, trimmers, edgers, blowers and chains saws first. They don't even pretend to burn all the fuel.

Pretty strong possibility that enough people will figure out that global warming is BS before the next election and the Dems will lose both houses.
If not, they'll get around to the problem of us breathing out too much CO2 and tax us for that. Like cigarettes they'll never ban them, just blame all the problems on them and tax the h*ll out of it. |

Global warming can't be fixed by banning cars as the earth does naturally cycle. Ask yourself, what happened to the glacier which spanned the entire central part of the US centuries ago? Before cars, before oil heat and before man made pollution. BTW: China pollutes far more than we do, how they gonna stop that? They won't as they are lib weenies... It's a crazy world. I'm sure the laws will come out that we (mammals) are allowed one breath per hour. After all we produce more carbon dioxide and water vapor than anything else.
Trees and grass will be the only allowed life (PETA). After all, they consume CO and produce O2. Cows must go. Way too much methane. The oceans produce lots of CO (probably due to the exchange of the plankton for O2) so we have to cover them with plastic (If I were a bubble wrap manufacturer I'd be very happy). Our lowly Cobras ride way below the radar screen in the grand scheme of all the bigger fish.. By the way, snakes are cold blooded and we are snakes :) |
