just changed to CLassic Chambered mufflers
Hello All,
I just finished making side pipes for my E-M. The previous pipes used a LoKar muffler which I was not happy with.
Well, After installing the final product and laying a coat of VHT Black paint on the pipes, I started it up.
From the rotation of the motor I knew there was going to be a difference. This was a very deep sounding crank and BOOOM!!! she fired up!!!!!!
WHat a Difference.
The motor is a lot deeper but quieter...... until you rev the motor then you here the BB sound.
I am pleased with the sound and the total cost was about $260.
Not sure if there was a performance gain because I did not really get on it but you feel that the motor does feel faster just by driving normally.
I took the opportunity and replaced the Header gaskets with the split locking header bolts from Basin and header gasket from SCE along with Remflex side pipe gaskets. I used grade 8 5/16 bolts with locking nuts and it seems as if this will finally stay together.
