Is there really any advantage to getting the reversible ones? I have never seen or used ones that reverse.

For what you are using it for, no. When we safetied bolts on Aircraft, we are suppose to wire a certain way and then pigtail on the end is suppose to reversed twist for proper safety. The pigtail can be either way, it really won't matter. The pigtail gets its term when you cut the end off, take your very tip of the safety and curl it back toward you safety wire hole so no one get stuck with the sharp end.

Most of us Airwingers get a kick out of others safety wiring.

AAaahh, that's why mine reverse , they are left over from when I did aircraft work in the early 70s. I didn't even realize that all of them didn't reverse. If you are asking/searching for twist pliers that may be part of the problem, maybe not. I have always just referred to them( as well as heard them called) ...safety wire pliers, never with a twist. I have seen them in many places as well, but you already have a pretty long list...I think that Speedway Motors even has them.
