I can’t believe !!!
On 6/18/09 I got SB100 certification # 2009486 Looks to me that there are 14 left.
I’m working right now on SPF # 2966—FE 428, Jeff B. in Fremont is doing my install….

Must just be certain DMVs that have access to that information. I called ours after reading abut it and they informed me they had all been issued on Jan. 2nd. Of course our local DMV does not like these cars a=or any other kind that causes them to have to do any work, so they just make one phone call on Jan. 2nd and that is is as they get a busy signal.

Could you find a link that will let people know how many are left? The regular SPCNS link used to give the number left but they have re-did it and it no longer shows any number. Just what you have to do to get one.

Isn't it unusual that there are any left at this time of the year, or is it just that (1) the backlog is clearing or (2) people don't care any more?

I got number 489 two weeks ago also. Going on SPF #2932.

The people at my local DMV actually argued with me when I asked them to please call and see if any numbers were left. They were adamant that all had been given out on Jan. 2nd.

Egg on their face really bad.

If you need a number, go to DMV and ask for a supervisor to call Sacramento for you to see if any are left. They received a memo telling them that several were available, but not everyone read it. So, be ready for a fight!

Blame it on the economy. 500 numbers weren't needed this year!

Last Thursday or Friday, I heard of someone getting number 498 for a Coupe. If they are stil available, there are not many!
