6/25/09 Warning CA-17: Silicon Valley to Santa Cruz road warning...

Heads up for those of you in the SF Bay Area, considering taking that lovely Cobra over highway 17 to or from Santa Cruz:

There is about 3 miles of road-grinding that was just done. Rocks and pebbles and dust are all over the place.

Think twice before you head for the beach in your Cobra for the next week or so...

I got nailed in the head with a pebble kicked up from some other car. Thankfully, the glossy, shiney finish on my shaved head caused the pebble to ricochet off without causing any major damage...
