Help identifying the kit manufacturer
I need help identifying this car. I have not been able to find any manufacturer identification on the car. The previous owner does not know the origin of the car. He purchased the car from a guy in California. I need to try and find a front clip in order to get the body repaired. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The frame doesnt look like any Unique I have ever seen and Unique uses the Jag IRS not solid axle. Only picture I have handy doesnt show it all but you can see it partially.

Not sure what it is but it's not a Unique. I've got my Unique torn down in my shop I can send you a frame pic if you like.

Is the angle of the frame pic deceiving or is that the oddest construction? It appears that one triangulated rail is boxed in and the opposite side rail is angle cut and welded to the prior one, where they join under the tail of the tranny.... If it is, as it appears, that frame construction should stand out among all the others.

Wow that frame should be a dead giveaway as to who designed and built it.......did you keep any of the body pieces from the accident ...maybe you can just reconstruct it that way.Good Luck with your project.

I guess B&B check the picture here and you'll see they use solid rear axle, MII front suspension and the big X member underneath http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/s...9&ppuser=24713
The other thing to check is the roll bars are pretty wide on them 14" on centre if memory serves correctly.

The B&B photos do look close. I will get out this weekend and take a closer look at the frame and check the spacing on the roll bar. The car is in an enclosed trailer and the temperature has been over 100 here in the Seattle area the last few days.
I do have most of the big pieces. The shop that is going to do the work said they could glue it back together as a last resort.

We've got an SPF here in our paint shop now. It is being RErepaired properly this time after suffering very similar damage. The first guy glued the parts together and they were covered with stress cracks. The lower centre section is still weeping oil and coolant out of the glass from where the cooler and radiator ruptured. It had to be completely remade from a pull off the shape. Yours may be easier to put a front clip on if they are available. Have a good fibreglass guy look it over real closely. Maybe a Vette shop or a boat/jet ski place. Good luck with it and keep us posted.

Looks very similar to my 91 Legendary Autos of of Florida. now defunct. Although my trany cross member is a bolt on not welded. My upper frame just in front of the dif does not go across but stops with about a 12" Gap. Doesn't seem to be a problem but can not figure why they never bridged that gap? I have been unable to get any info from the guy that bought it new (he is clueless). Don't know if this is a LA Exotics that was put together by legendary less engine and trans. Engine and trans were installed in Calif. I have been told my car looks like an LA Exotic. Look at that frame around the dif. we could be cousins

Thank you all for your inputs. I contacted Bryan at B&B and he confirmed that it is in fact an old L.A. Exotics and that he can provide me a front clip. i am going to contact the body shop in Tacoma that is going to do the work for me and get things rolling. I will keep you posted as things progress.

Hey Mike, that's pretty good news for and from a guy with only 5 posts. You've found the right place, the right car and the right parts to fix it. I love it when a little effort and research pays off!
