I remember seeing the 289 (Lynn Park's racing out of the Wild West Motorsports stable) with the Daytona type pipes in the early 90's at the Mini Nats when they were originally held at Laguna also. If my memory is right (?) it has a Gurney Weslake headed 289 with 48IDA's. Can anyone else confirm this, anyone take any engine shots??? I believe this car was the subject of a magazine article several years ago; as have many of the 289's that frequent the Monterey Historics.

Default Glad you made it to Laguna!

Hey Brent,
Unfortunately I did not go this year for the Historics. It was great to see you were able to make it there. Just curious, I figured you'd be on the lookout to see if there were any GT40s on the track, and if so, how about any Mark IVs, etc?

I guess my pics from the event sucked pretty bad, as nobody said a word in response.
