Default Questions about the BAR (San Jose area)

I went to the DMV today with all my paper work, Vin # brake & light cert. and now there telling me I need to go to BAR. And couldn’t tell me where one is at.
Can anyone tell me the address & phone # of the BAR station in Evergreen. I think Evergreen is in S. San Jose? Or one close to Hollister.
Thanks guys

Do you have your SB100 sequence number? If not, the DMV is giving you the wrong info because you'll need a sequence number before the BAR visit. There's an 800 number for the BAR. When you call, you should tell them that the visit to the BAR is tied to SB100. They'll ask you for your sequence number and some other details and then set an appt at the BAR at Evergreen College.

"Evergreen" is located on the Evergreen Community College campus in Saan Jose, CA.

As Doug said, when you telephone the BAR for the appointment, they will ask you for your certificate #, which they do enter into a computer in order to create your "golden ticket."
