Uh, Duh... almost forgot this one..., sort of became partial to this car, after learning first hand what its like to drive something well beyond ones skill level. True 675hp, just under 1900lbs, as low as a go-kart, and drives like it. My Cobra felt like a joke after this. Intimidating looking, and very intimidating to drive. Rich, sir, I will never forget - still intimidated!

Unreal.

I do like the two polished Kirkham Cobra pics the best. I think the pose of Brent's car looks the most intimidating, at least until his MK IV is finished that is.

Just dug up this old photo from the archives...

To many, what was even more intimidating and impressive was to see how those younger boys from Kirkham DROVE a few of their cars including this former SEMA show car 13+ hours all the way to the Cobra Bash in 2006, ears still ringing, cleaned it up, and we put it right in the lobby of the resort casino.

I find it very intimidating when when looking in the rearview mirror and I see those butterflies suddenly opening, makes me just want to pull over and let it pass.

Ahhh...resurrection of a 3 year old thread and a good one at that. Among all the Cobras, even though I'm friends with John, ... I gotta say when BossJBL started up, everyone took notice. I'll add a second pic to the thread just because its a favorite pic of John next to what is referred to as "Boss JBL". And, that just happens to be Tom from FE Specialities walking up on the right - he did major updates on the heads of Boss JBL. Nothing like listening to a mild 585hp 331 stroker zero balance crankshaft with Boss Yates heads instantaneously revving to 8,500 rpms at the blip of the trottle. Ear piercing is an understatement. The good old days of WSCB, what fun it was.

The "Butcher's Build" on par with some of these last pics, but if you throw in a mad scientist behind the wheel, well then the message from your mirror should be telling you Big Trouble in River City!
