Default Killed Myself When I Was Young

http://www.jalopyjournal.com/?p=11527

Check out the vintage racing movie. Many of the folks featured in this film lost their lives. That makes it even more tough to watch… But it also drives home a point – these fellas gave their lives to racing.

Great footage. Thanks for sharing. it makes you think about how fragile life is when you push the envelope. All the racing deaths through out history have gone to improve safety, so hopefully none of those guys died for nothing.

No seatbelts, . . no rollbar. You would have though it would have been obvious even back then.

This video makes me think of just how dangerous our Cobra's really are. I should watch this just before every time I take the car out for a drive. The power these little cars have can easily get you into trouble - and faster than you would have thought. My worst fear has always been a roll over. How strong is my roll bar? I don't want to test it.
