Default fuel pressure regulator setting

I'm in the middle of my coupe build, well my builder is. I'm getting ready to order some fuel system components, engine will be carburated. I'm looking at a quickfuel press regulator (with return). It adjusts from 4.5 - 9 psi. My question is will I ever need to go above 9 psi if I'm doing some track events. This car should be extremely quick around a road course (See Brent Lykins build thead for my engine). Noticed I said the car. Not so quick with me piloting it. Just not sure if pressure adjustment will every be necessary above 9 psi...

Seven is max needed for your app. Nine will blow the needle off the seat.

Yep, and the carb will come with instructions to not going any higher than 6. Your carb will be set up for road racing, with special floats.

You just won't quit working will you Brent. You better be getting some rest any time you possibly can.

Thanks guys. I appreciate it.
