Default Lets take a Schvitz!

Cranky and I sweated our butts off tonight tracking down the source of no spark in McStang. Right under our noses, the ground from the MSD box came loose when I rerouted my brake proportioning valve to the interior. Bled the brakes too.

Now just gotta throw dem Kirkey seats in Da Stang and I be ready too!

Be fast, be safe and may the Force be with you. Keep all hands and legs in the car until the ride comes to a complete stop.

Turn a fast lap for me. Hope to run with you there next year. Getting my pennies together for a new aluminum radiator. Running autox the rest of the year instead.

Steve

Default Crankys nephew

Watch out gang, my nephew A J has found us and will be joining the Crankoids at the Glen when he gets back from his Tour with the A F in Japan. THE BOY CAN DRIVE. He is only 20 but has 10 years racing experience driving the dirt tracks in the Northeast.
Last time he was at the Glen I gave him the first timer speech. "Don't try to impress me cause you can't and don't try to scare me because I already am". Boy was I wrong, he really did impress me with his no fear driving skills plus he did scare me.

Alan, welcome to Club Cranky, the unofficial open track racing/ fun group of Club Cobra.

Uncle Roger aka Cranky

BTW nice job of you and Steven "guarding" the beer cooler last time you two were at the Glen.

Default Slick67?????? oooohhh Jeez......

Dere goes da neighborhood....Alan has tracked us down!!!

Alan,

I heard about all the fun yer having in Japan outracing all them rice burners. I understand you just pushed the front end of your car in, last time out. I also heard about the Jet Ski incident in Hawaii! Bad boy, BAD!!!!!!

You know we got a spot for you. Plenty of racing. Alan is the only 20 year old I have heard about setting near record lap times at the Glen first time out! Even Lauren Fix was impressed!

Yup....I'm waiting on a call from yer dad to see when he can squeeze me in to put a Locker in the rear. That stupid Power Trak let loose for no good reason!

BTW - Your dad has my Recaro seats for the 67 Stang.

Can you still tune a V8???? Last I heard they are tweeked just a wee bit differently than an F-115.

Be good and stay in touch!

JM

Club cranky

yes i can still tune a V-8 even though i havent seen one in awhile.
I did a number on my car here too. I went into turn 5 a little to hard and pushed right out to the grass and then it was all over right through the sand trap and into the tire barrier. If i had the car back home i could fix it but here i cant. I bent the frame so much the right front is 3 inches farther back and its bent down an 1 1/2" at the front cross member. So the car is out of commission now. It was a street car that had some hp but little torque. It was an overhead cam inline 4 with a turbo, 5sp and a posi. I hated working on cause of all that computer EFI crap.

I want to go back to carbs there so much easier. I miss my ford

It was a little wierd driving on the right hand side of the car. It took me a week to get the shifting down good.

BTW It was thialand not hawaii that i destroied a rental jet ski
i was having fun befor i wrecked it

well have to go its time to baten down the hatches!! typhoon on the way
