What ground clearance do you guys think I can get away with up there.

At most a min of 4". If you can get it off your trailer, you should be all set.

Make sure you sign up ASAP with PDA for October 4-6. Last count they only have 40 cars signed up, but it will fillup quickly in the next 3 or 4 weeks.

Bruce, Recommended minimum ride height for a Chevy Big Block car is 6-8". This allows room for the parts to exit the motor, bounce off the track and clear the rear of the car. Anything less will result in a nasty film of oil on the rear licence plate.
