August 1-3, 2003. Mid America Motorplex, Pacific Junction, Iowa. 3 days of open track. 3 days of drag racing. Car shows. Live music. Fireworks. Ford SVT displays and show cars. I'm still waiting for my GT40 kit to ship. (should be very soon)

My goal is to have it on the road by mid July,,,,,so if all goes well,,,
I'll be there with my drving gear, comp license, & plenty of sticky tires to use up!

Update on MCCI@MAM 2:
Ford has promised one of the three GT40 show cars as part of their exhibit. Also, there will be an opportunity to ride in a variety of vintage Fords while touring the track.
