Default Pictures of Helmet

Helmet Almost Done
Thought I'd post some pix for those of you that may have an interrest in custom helmets. They are located in my picture gallery.
I did the design and layout to fit the contours of the helmet, but had an airbrush artist do the painting for me.
Enjoy,
TL

I saw a used one with an air brush painting of a Cobra on it for sale. Price was $800. Not sure what model and snell rating it had.

Very nice indeed, Terry! Is this something that you do on the side for others or is this a 1 off type of deal?

Excaliber,
I looked around at all kinds of helmets, and decided that the AGV helmet with vents was what I wanted - not cheap - $750 from Simpson - now I needed to finish it. If you plan on doing any racing, be sure that the helmet meets the requirements of the group you are racing with. See reply to Slither below.

Slither,
This is a "one of a kind" for my own personal use. If you or any one else would like some help in doing something like this I will be more than happy to help. I am willing to provide my design and layout expertise (as a retired architect) for free.
The guy I had do the painting is really good. He would charge between $600 & $800 depending on the design and time involved. In as much as I gave him a complete design for mine, I was at the bottom of his scale.
The "Fran Kress" Cobra helmet goes for about $1300 unsigned. I just didn't like the Voyager helmet, and wanted something alittle different.
