In light of some recent game threads, how about a racing terminology game? Some one posts a racing term and everyone trys to identify its meaning.

Sound good?

I will start. Tell me what this one means:

"wiping the fire band"

It is WAY to nice to be inside today

"splice the mainbrace" came from the sailing days to the reward or extra pay given to the men who fixed the main brace rope. I guess I didn't say automotive racing did I?

Does it have a meaning in auto racing Roscoe?

Yes that was supposed to be 'bribe' a cop. But I bet he would be still be plenty pi$$ed if you gave him a conterfeit BRIDE

Hint on "wiping the fire band", it has to do with the brakes.
