Racetracks of the Northeast
Here is a little discription of the Northeast tracks as described by John McMahon.
Hint...the level of beauty that each track equates to, is how enjoyable it is, starting with the ugliest (this is gonna be tough):
1. Pocono = Ruth Buzzi (butt ugly, soiled, used and abused, not much fun to ride)
2. Summit Point = Courtney Love (a dirty little ho, but still fun to 'ride on' when she ain't hosting the entire populace of WV)
3. Lime Rock = Salma Hayek (short, hot, curvy and unpredictable)
4. VIR = Ashley Judd (a tall drink o' water with long, beautiful lines that make you giddy in anticipation of what lies in her moist hills and valleys)
5. Watkins Glen = Pam Anderson (built for speed, bigger then life, beautifully coifed and every curve gives you a 'chubby').
6. NHIS: Anna Nicole Smith: some fun areas to play with but the front straight has some deadly curves.
'Nuff Said? I though so!

Cranky,
I have heard rumors that some of the Eastern tracks were limiting kit car participation to those with full cages or at least a full roll bar. In short are there any requirements that I might need to know about if I were planning a trip to the Glen or one of your other tracks?
Thanks,
Clois

Clois,
I have run at WGI with many different groups over the years and they all have their own set of unwritten rollbar rules.
People who run Open track events don't want their insurance coverage cancelled because somebody gets hurt in an Open top car so they just say the track won't allow single hoop roolbars.
I think Cobras got a bad wrap a while back because of some over enthusiastic Cobra drivers who had lots of straightaway experience but as soon as they hit the first corner they suddenly ran out of talent.
Some Open Track events are run by groups with a little more tolerance towards Cobras.
Send me an e-mail and I'll let you know which clubs are more Cobra friendly.

add to 6. NHIS recently has seen drastic upgrades and reformation. Now is a lot more presentable and user friendly.

Dan and others,
I didn't add NHIS to my list because I never drove it. So I can't describe the type of woo-man she is if I've never bedded her.
Feel free to add to the list.
Cranky,
Add NHIS to the list, damn good descroption by Dan. And since Anna Nicole is in some diet commercial now, McFEz's updates apply as well!
ANY OTHER TRACKS TO ADD????
