I have a comp style wind screen for my ERA and use it for days at the track.

I don't know that it makes me any faster but does look cool. I definitely would not drive without a full face helmet though. Also don't ever take your wife on a parade lap without a helmet.

Mine is an Acton Custom unit by Nick.
Come on guys, in NH motorcycles dont use helmets.....
Not sure it makes tons of sense on one of those but I plan to drive comp screen on the road with goggles.
At least till I get hit with the first June bug.....

I had the intention that I would put the full size windshield back on occasionally.......... Not a chance! The double comp is really effective at getting the air up and over smoothly. Yes you are more exposed but its more direct frontal pressure, not the turbulent, random battering you take from full size wind screen. and its just so dam sexy! It changes the whole shape of the car. Longer, lower, leaner. Your eye see's the curvature of the cowl, not the big square frame.
Ill most likely never put the factory piece back on.
