What CSX# was Allen Grant's famous car?

CSX 2128? It seems he raced this car but I don't know if its the one that bounced back and forth between Coventry and Shelby.

The car in the picture is not the car he raced in the '60's. Not sure if the one in the picture is an original car or an aluminum replica, but it has a cutback door body.

He raced 2128 (Sebring Car) as noted above which is also the famous Hey Little Cobra car (a personal favorite car of mine :-) ) Obviously they changed the paint scheme when Grant was racing it.

Interesting notation!

Many of the actual race cars have seen many restorations as racing can leave its mark. This still may be 2128 as wide body resorations were popular. If it is a reproduction, nice job....

BTW: Your KMS Comp 289 is simply a Masterpiece..........

2128 is currently restored to '63 sebring specs with a replacement body. The original body is hanging on the wall of the Shelby Collection.

Isn't CSX2128 Owned by LHM and displayed at his track? It is black with Yellow stripes and I gotta admit that its one of my favorites.

Yes Joe, you are correct. He rotates his cars between the Shelby American Collection and the track.

Some where on the WWW about Allen Grant mentions that the Cobra is a Kirkham.
