Default Trying something new Side pipe urethane mounts how to

Trying something new and thought I would share my home made Urethane side pipe mounts. I always wanted to make a better set up for the side pipes so they could move a little with the motor and maybe not crack or brake the muffler guts free, so here is what I am doing. I started with a piece of box tube that would fit over the box tube frame out rigger and cut it open into a C channel. If the photos don't explain it let me know and I will go into more details. With any luck I will have more photos tomorrow and will show you how it works on the car.

In a few days the urethane will be all set up and I can do the final trim, paint, drill my holes and remount my pipes. I hope this helps and makes cense if not don't hesitate to ask.

What I did was very simple, I mount mine very much the same way, with 4 bolts going thrue, rubber isolaters, no vibration that way, I saw on your silver cobra ,you did the flanges on the side pipes instead of the slip fit, and didnt see any rubber mounts, where it goes to the frame. It looks very nice.

I used two tubes of 3m windshield urethane but I am looking into a two part for faster set up.
